Professional Background

Josh Johnson is a proud East Idaho native whose deep community roots and extensive business experience define his professional life. In his role in advertising sales at East Idaho News, Josh serves as a solutions provider — helping clients leverage his relationships and community knowledge to grow their businesses. In addition to managing a robust advertising client list, he oversees in-kind advertising partnerships with prominent local non-profit institutions, including the Idaho Falls Symphony, Idaho Falls Arts Council, Idaho Falls Rescue Mission, Museum of Idaho, and Ronald McDonald House.

Before joining East Idaho News in 2018, Josh built a diverse career in customer service, management, and operations — including roles at a Subaru dealership and a 19-year tenure at Western States Caterpillar. He is an active member of the Idaho Falls Rotary Club.

Josh makes his home in Idaho Falls with his wife, Deborah, Development Community Outreach Manager — and their rescue dogs, Kona and Lola. When not serving clients or the community, he enjoys traveling, cooking, and mountain biking the trails of East Idaho, St. George, and the Sawtooths.
